The special thing about the engine is that it is not air-cooled, unlike most engines. The submersible pump is always in the water, so air cooling is impossible. The cooling takes place precisely through the pumped water. This is often also the reason that the pump must always be completely submerged in water before it can be started. The pump is therefore also equipped with a switch that is controlled by a float. This float indicates whether the pump is still completely in the water. When the pump runs dry, it will give a signal.

For transferring water, whether from a basement, a commercial space or a pond, the pump can simply be inserted and removed again after draining.
