GA-1 grease alarm signalling

The GA-1 is an alarm device for monitoring the thickness of the fat layer accumulating in a separator. The system consists of a control unit GA-1, a GA sensor and a cable splice. The GA sensor is installed in the light liquid storage room and gives an alarm when the fat layer in the room reaches a predetermined level. The sensor is normally submerged in water. Its operation is based on the measurement of electrical conductivity of the surrounding liquid – water conducts electricity much better than fat.

GA-2 grease alarm with back-up signaling

The GA-2 is an alarm device for monitoring the thickness of the fat layer accumulating in a separator. It also has a backflow sensor. The system consists of a control unit GA-2, two GA sensors and a cable splice. The GA grease sensor is installed in the light liquid (fat) storage room and gives an alarm when the fat layer in the room reaches a predetermined level. The sensor is normally submerged in water. Its operation is based on the measurement of electrical conductivity of the surrounding liquid – water conducts electricity much better than fat. The build-up alarm is hung above the liquid level and gives a signal if the level in the grease separator rises and becomes too high.
