Submersible pump Unilift KP

Grundfos Unilift KP are stainless steel submersible pumps designed for pumping non-aggressive water and gray wastewater, such as drainage and domestic wastewater with particles up to 10 mm. The pump can be used as a portable unit or stationary installation inside and outside buildings.

The Unilift KP is a single-stage drainage pump with semi-open impeller, designed for pumping drainage water or gray wastewater. All Unilift KP pumps can be supplied with or without a level switch. The variants are labeled A, AV or M, for automatic or manual operation. The Unilift KP-AV variant for narrow wells is supplied with a check valve for installation on the discharge side. The strainer is clipped onto the pump housing.

The Unilift KP. single-stage, submersible, stainless steel drainage pump in robust design with upward pointing discharge port on top of the pump. The outer housing is made of one piece. The power supply cable and the level switch cable are both connected to a single vulcanized waterproof plug that plugs into a socket on the hermetically sealed stator housing. The motor is a single- or three-phase synchronous canned motor with a liquid-filled rotor chamber and water-lubricated bearings.

The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid flowing around it.

The motor is equipped with automatic overload protection which switches off the motor in case of overload. When the motor has cooled down to normal temperature, the motor will restart automatically.

The Grundfos Unilift KP pumps are intended for pumping:

  • Water and rainwater in horticulture
  • Water from rivers and lakes
  • Rainwater, drainage water and water from floods
  • Water for filling/emptying containers, ponds, tanks, etc.
  • Wastewater from showers, washing machines and sinks below sewer level
  • Pool water
  • Ditch drainage water
  • Groundwater (lowering)
  • Residential effluent from septic and treatment systems
  • Effluent from viaducts, underpasses, etc
  • Drainage water from garage sprinkler systems.
