Redesign of the Market in Veghel

Veghel is a place in the province of North Brabant and has more than 31,000 inhabitants. In 1225 Veghel is first mentioned as Vehchele . Due to urban development from the middle of the 19th century, Veghel was later called the Pearl of the Meierij. Veghel is located on the national landscape Het Groene Woud.

Since 2008, the Municipality of Veghel has been busy with the redevelopment of 't Ven, Hoogstraat and the market, among others. In the design for the center a clear square function has been chosen.

The designers have selected HAURATON linear channels especially for drainage. Our FASERFIX KS 100 linear gutter is suitable for heavy traffic and the GUGI cast iron mesh grate was chosen as the grating. This grid with square inlet openings ensures safe use of the square by the walking and cycling public and is extremely suitable for the redesign of squares such as this one.
